Long Load Times

I've recently begun partying with some people in my FC to do some treasure maps, and it has come to my attention that 30 second load times are not the norm. I've since measured my load times starting the game and teleporting to other areas, and I have a 50 second wait when I first enter the game, and 32 second waits when I teleport. My system, as read by the old benchmark, is:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130828-1532)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
8139.277MB
AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series(VRAM 4095 MB) 8.17.0010.1230

My HDD has 7200rpm with a 6gb/s transfer rate. It seems like I exceed the recommended system requirements, so I don't understand why my load times are so much more than other people's. Does anybody have any insight into why this is?

I've also been experiencing long load times. It isn't my pc. I've checked everything out with it and it's fine. This is especially happening when loading into an intance, be it a dungeon, personal or primal. Loading into zones isn't so bad. So I do know it's not me or my ISP.

One word: SSD drive. Okay, that is two words. Takes me less than 10 seconds to zone or teleport.

When I noticed how slow my loading speed was, I asked everyone about it. Everyone had times between 5 and 15 seconds, and only one person used an SSD.

Seriously.

But my main concern isn't that it exists, just that it seems longer for me than most people, despite have a solid computer. Is it an issue communicating with the server? Do I need to do some port forwarding? If so, what ports? Is my computer simply not all that I thought it was?

Same problem. Well, my PC *is* outdated, with C2D E8400@3.0, Intel P45, 4Gb RAM and Radeon HD 4970.
Yesterday i bought and installed SSD drive. Fresh Windows 7 installation, fresh game client installation...
In Windows, it went as expected - nice, fast boot etc. In game... almost ZERO load time improvement in comparison with my old HDD.

Tired and don't know what to do next...

Solved!
Switching video mode from fullscreen to borderless window miraculously helped with load times.
Don't know HOW this is possible, but it worked. Now i can finally enjoy the game ^_^
