And how many would pick the "start a new party" instead of the "Join party in progress only" option if it exsisted? (hint: no one lol)
And how many parties would be in progress if there is no one to start them? (hint: 0)

In other words, it doesn't make sense to have "Join only parties in progress". Because then no one would be STARTING parties...

The tick is there to verify the player agrees to also join parties in progress, not to make sure he joins party in progress only.

There are plenty of people who want to start from the beginning to get the loot of the first boss, if somebody drops after boss one plenty of people would want loot off boss 2 and so on. How many people want to fight the same bosses that dont drop the item 15 times to get to a last boss for him to not drop it again? hint: no one lol

not conflicting if you don't just cut small segments from the whole statement. anybody can edit other peoples posts to make them look foolish. The point is plenty of people start from the beginning and don't complete the dungeon. People just seem to be missing the point. Some people want to join in progress so they do tick the box but get endless new parties. This isn't some kind of troll thread... it is a serious issue where when people tick in progress and 90% of these parties are not in progress.

What about the people who DO want the items off the first bosses? Screw them with longer queues because some entitled ass does not want to put forth the effort to help others?

I check off in-progress to help groups that lost people because selfish pricks bailed after they did not get their drop on a early boss. I have been seeing this more and more in the last month. After damned near every boss we have to wait a bit and replace 2-3 (or more) people that jump ship.

some people who want the item from first boss often just quit after first boss and then somebody joins who needs item from 2nd boss. this isnt screwing anybody..... plenty of people already doing that actually.
