Noob needs cross class ability question answered please :(

Hi - I have a quick question maybe someone can help me. This is my first game ever playing like this so everything for me has been very difficult for me to understand. I do LOVE it tho and I am totally hooked

I have decided to become a White Mage in game, I think for me I really enjoy the Healing class. After doing some reading, I have decided I need cross classes to get a few spells I think will benefit me and the people I am playing with ie Swiftcast on the THM and eye for an eye on the ARC. I thought that I should be able to use some cross abilites but for some reason I can't use all of them

I am on my level 25 THM and I would like to be able to use "raise" "protect" "Aero" and it tells me I cannot use them in my current class when I try to use it?

You shoud be able to use them on THM. Have you selected them on Actions & Skills > Additional? I mean, you have to go through said route, select Conjurer icon, select Raise, Protect and Aero (actions will become available on the bottom part of the window) and then drag & drop those actions to your hotbars.
Do not try to drag & drop actions themselves, but the botton ones instead once you have selected them.

Were you level sync'd by any chance? If you're sync'd by way of doing FATES or Dungeons, and are below the level you learn the ability you're trying to use (or the level where you open up that available cross class slot (you get another cross class slot every 5 levels I believe?)) you'll get that error message.

It's only the level at which you open up the cross-class slot. The level of the ability doesn't matter. Stoneskin all up in the level 10 guildhests.

Not sure what you mean by using raise but note that if you use raise as a THM, it is only available during NONE battle. THM CAN'T raise during Battle. And also every 5 levels I think you get to add one cross class skill.

If you have your soul crystal equipped, aka your "job" instead of your class - white mage and not conjurer - then you only get 1 cross-class skill every 10 levels. Also, look at the ability descriptions. Not all abilities are useable by every class.
