Anyone able to get BLM to a competative level?

Flare is the single wild card BLMs have. Mana Ward is the best Enkindle/Fester deterrent, Mana wall is a 2nd Surecast and premeditated stun evasion. Featherfoot, Keen Edge are useless without facing your enemy. Convelescence requires you to be healed. I don't see why THM is capable of outclassing BLM. And to really make use of Keen Edge you'd need to use shield combo, which no PvP options are available.

You need to read what I said, flare is a lvl 50 spell therefore not available at lvl 30 and level 40 cap. Manaward comes with THM too, keep in mind this is for 30 and 40 cap, you keep missing that point. Healers heal you, convalescence would be go for the initial dogpile attempt at which time heals are spamming heals on you to keep you alive. Keen edge? no Keen flurry, featherfoot which works really well, better than the two hits manawall protect you from. Flare isn't much of a wild card, outside the occasional tee hee effect (i'd rather use swiftcast for things like saving my own hide or the healer), scathe is my primary damage ability while moving
