Stuns I can't answer, slows lethargy is on a cd so can't test that, heavy appears (needs more testing) to resist at 3 too ( I could be wrong). Another thing you should be aware of if you dps the pets, it will register as doing 0 damage on the scoreboard. People don't realise that and acuse you of doing no damage.

Sleep duration is 30 ; 15 ; 7 Immune. Stun is immune on 3rd. Snare is immune on 4th application. Heavy is immune on 4th application. With a coordinated team it is best to sleep until their healer Purifies then start the timer on the survival game.

BLM is possible at a competitive level. I think BLM is at it's strongest in 4s. Still works well in 3s you have one good DPS or MRD and healer

I disagree i think strongest is healer ... healers are way more effective than anybody else if there would be chance i would run with 4 healers. or if you mean strongest dps then i agree

Umm.. Pretty sure he means that BLM perform at THEIR best in 4's (better suited for 3's/4's rather than duo or solo queue). Which I agree with. Ran mostly BRD/PAL/BLM with Hudeski ^ till rank 30 for 3's. We won the majority of our matches, awesome setup and was fun (prly not fun for hudeski tho =P)

for one, you do get 3 sleeps on a target before they resist. assuming no sleep materia it goes 30>15>7 not counting Night Wing. Blm can be played competitively and in the current state Blm performs better in premade 4s than summoner and bard. As far as solo queueing blm you will have a hard time getting pugs to notice sleeps. Its a very frustrating job to play if you have no synergy with your team but as long as you are atleast keeping tank and melee cc'd it relieves enough pressure to get some burst in.

i have pretty much no materias because im poor. if i wasnt poor i'd stat all crit and determination because i play blm for quick burst in the beginning similar to how smns are with enkindle energy drain. I'd put all crit and determination materia because crits are vital for instagibbing burst targets with blm. Other option would be capping stun resistance. stuns are your biggest cc problem as blm due to tank and melee always being on you and the quicker you get the stun to dr the more reliable your casts are.

It is never fun for the BLM its so stressful. Luckily for us that stress load can be let off when we manage to perform a Double Flare Firestarter.
