i do like reactive mechanics but by removing animation lock, and adding more reactive mechanics how to you solve the problem of the boss breaking the rotations of half of the classes in the game?
Fights are already designed trying to avoid that and still we have some classes that have an advantage on uptime making so that those need to be classes with lower damage to not break the game.

Animation isnt the problem, but reducing the netcode delay on oGCDs would solve some problems even if clipping some animations. High latency player already suffer with that since ARR and avoid to play with proc based classes or low GCD such as BRD/MCH/MNK its a pain to ract with 190-240 ms

Fact is that by making more reactive fights will punish Melees and classes like BLM that if in need to move reduces they're input damage to zero in some cases. Being punished for doing the mechanic correctly does'nt sound a lot of fun.

That's a problem i faced on Mythic or Heroic fights on WoW for exemple where melees are so punished for reactive mechanics that sometimes in a 20men raid group willl be filled with Mages/Hunters/Druids and maybe 2 or 3 melees to avoid the DPS problems.

TL;DR : If the solution would be so easy it would have been already been implemented since thats not the 1st time ppl ask for less delay on animations.
