About mounts - mainly Behemoth one

While I agree that the behemoth mount should have been a much more rare reward, I think it is silly to worry about many different mounts ruining immersion. In a world full of many different adventures, it would make sense there would be many different mounts to ride.

We need more mounts and we need more attack mounts, beside chocobos. It was the last time I recall this is a mmo and not a single player game. Players should be able to stand out. As for The Behemoth mount, that nothing I want to see some of there really cool bosses from ff11 as mounts lol. Also we need some flying dragoons mounts to.

Damn it feels like this topic hit the soar spot for some people.

When all you need to do is keep your sub active, that indeed is welfare mount. Same as with the token gear where you only need to clear trivial content long enough to buy high end ilvl gear without ever facing challenges.

And to wish for some immersion is wrong because...?

It's impossible to tame beasts, except chocobos, those don't break immersion.

As for taming beasts, there are many breeds of different kind of bears in the world, black, polar, grizzly and kodiak to name a few that could easily carry man, but we don't see people riding them either irl?

Now think that something like behemoth would be aroun 100 times the size of largest bear and you just decide to tame it. Yeah, right.

And I'm very sorry if my opinion and view over game's world bothers you, but I am still entitled to my opinion which is behemoth mount is moronic idea.

This game is fan service and many players like it. So just because you don't like it they should remove it. Haha..

I love mounts, the more variety the better in my opinion.
It also makes sense to have badass looking mounts as subscription rewards, there is nothing wrong from a business point of view in making subscribing more attractive. I'm paid up for the next six months, there is no other game I've played where I have paid that far in advance.

So, the baby behemoth in collector's edition isnt tamed? Sorry did not realize this wasn't already a thing far before the larger behemoth mount. You think about that for a bit and then get back to me, maybe, just maybe you can do the math.


By the way, everything you named has been tamed at some point in time. Your argument will just keep falling flat. And don't forget this is a fantasy game, if SE wants us riding bears you can bet your ass we'll be riding bears.
