My apologies. I could not seem to find the correct forum to post this in. I know this has been mentioned multiple times, but as they say about the squeaky wheel.

I have been a player since closed beta and there is still a glaring issue with the system that has largely been openly ignored: especially since the feedback forums for CB were littered with this conversation.

The use of too many synthesis items from too many crafts from varying level gaps makes it unwelcoming to attempt, and no fun to play. I noticed a recent update post that some of this will be looked into but while the level of certain items is good to consider there also must be a look at the amount of items needed.

I am fine with making parts to a synth, but when those parts need parts for other crafts to complete it is getting a little too complicated. The use of realism is only entertaining for so long, it eventually becomes inconvenient and not functional; this is immediate at the start of the game as a low level crafter when you cannot make level 1 hempen gear without buffalo straps, buckles, cotton, dyed cloth, etc. Not only are those higher level from other crafts but each of those takes multiple parts and steps to make alone.
