I dunno, looks OK to me. o.o
Without the Zeta glow, for those that might say that's the only reason it looks big enough.

I think Bravura and Ragnarok looks pretty small compared with Dual Haken for my highlander.

Titan Axe! The biggest Axe in the game. I would love to see more bigger axes. Some of them are pretty small ^^.

The size of the DW axe in the hands of my kitty really impressed me. My first thoughts were: Wow. Finally a real axe.

Eh....axes look good enough at their current size. It does seem that some axes are a bit bigger than others; which is fine imo.
What I am more concerned about is that this was necro-posted from over a year ago! O.O
Am I the only one who notices these things?

The Axe sizes are normal. What is NOT normal is holding and swinging an axe larger than yourself. In a game that many things are not very logical and physics laws are totally broken let's at least have something that does make sense. I know it's a JRPG but this is one of the reason Western RPGs took over. They look more "realistic" compared to the Asian ones. You can make a fantastic world with fantastic creatures and magic without breaking too much physics laws and logical assumptions. Some axes are smaller than others and some are bigger than others but all are in the logical proportions. Perhaps its your gear that's too fat and makes the axe tiny.

Pretty much none of the axes are logical sizes anyway. Real battle axe heads are quite tiny by comparison, even on two handed ones. The Axe sizes are normal. Is that big enough?
Seriously now, I think that it's good that not all of them are the same size, and that they aren't stupidly big either. Choice and all, because some people like them bigger and some others smaller.

I think people are forgetting what a Warrior is here. A Warrior is an embodiment of wrath, rage, whatever. It's that rage that has them choose pure offense, and larger axes, which in a fantasy scene, has a much, much larger impact than smaller ones. The Titan axe is beautiful in size. When you swing it, it actually feels like you're swinging a weapon that is appropriate for what you are, a beast that destroys whatever is in it's path with ridiculous amounts of force, when you CHOOSE to.
Sure not all of them should be ginormous, but please, keep 'realism' out of this. It's a Final Fantasy MMO, there isn't much 'realistic' about it, and it certainly shouldn't be the goal of the developers.
A lot of the low level axes, the way I see it, are made that way because they're the weapons you would see basic Marauders use, in Limsa for example. They're slim, easy to handle, they certainly look light, but that's because they're made with 'trainee' in mind. A Warrior is an entire step up. You've mastered your axe as your chosen weapon more so than any Marauder would. There comes a time when you gotta take take the training wheels off your bike, and then throw the bike away and get a really big axe to swing around instead.
P.s. There is nothing realistic about the game to begin with. Warriors swinging huge axes around isn't 'normal' by your standards? Then what is, in this game? Dragoons jumping a trillion feet into the air and then landing without any type of damage to themselves? Come on now.
