That might be a better way to phrase it, I agree.I don't feel accomplished when I hit cap in any MMO. Getting from 1 to cap is solely a function of time. Some games it's more, some games it's less. I feel satisfied that it's over with, but "accomplished" is definitely not the word I'd use.
Using Molly Millions' logic though I suppose I could say there is a minor sense of accomplishment in how efficiently I get from 1 to cap.
There is.
Being efficient means you understand the game system well enough to utilize it to its greatest potential. And the ability to do so strongly correlates with player skill.

solution : just let people choose their leves freely, and not give them 3 random leves every 36 hours.
sorry, but without failing leves intentionally we'd be stuck on shit leves most of the time that hardly reward you with any good SP.
I guess the sense of accomplishment is there because each time I get another class to 50, I'm that much closer to getting ahead of any unreleased content, which has always been my goal in this game.
This is very true, people on Fabul complain about my LS cranking noobs to 50. In fact, I'm rather proud of how efficiently we've been able to do it.
wont stop failing(i wont lie, itl just let me fail and repeat daily)
but itl give people the options they want, so that the fail option isnt the only way to keep good leves

Ya, I'd buy that for a dollar. Makes good sense.
The 'uncommon sense' wisdom Rentahamster though is that wanting to get to cap as efficiently as possible is "lazy", or that you're somehow trying to screw the system by wanting that. It sure the hell isn't my belief but just thought I'd throw that out there as a reminder of a more screwed up not all that uncommon assumption.
Just wanted to reiterate that I personally don't blame the players for doing this. It's the nature of the game for players to find the most efficient way to level up. It's SE's fault that they implemented a broken system which happens to make that failing objectives rather than completing them. Really all I wanted to hear was that they were planning to fix that system.Let me answer these because as anyone on Fabul will agree, my LS does this more than any other.
What I find enjoyable is gaining ranks as efficiently as possible with friends. If that's by completing leves, failing them, or just grinding doesn't matter to me at all. If they balance leves by either making them impossible to fail and keep, or they change the bonus structure then we'll find another way.
Do I feel accomplished when I get another class to 50? Yes, that's a mind numbing number of times to repeat the same leve. So yes I do feel a sense of accomplishment when I move on to the next class.
In the end it's better for everyone because then people wont feel like they have to miss out on gil/marks/faction and the rest aren't getting barred from leve parties because they haven't been manipulating the system.
Somehow those were the answers I was expecting from people who want to keep failing leves, however it is your game you bought play as you will, I'm just saying Failing leves when the goal is to complete them, its like why have missions at all if people are just going to fail the missions (there faction/nation).
Failing leve defeats the purpose of the initial design of the game:
-Obtain leve
-Go to camp
-Activate Leve
-Complete Leve
-Get Rewarded
-Make your nation proud
When people fail leves just to get to the R50 mark, (I can careless what route people go to get to R50, because in the end they are going to complain about endgame content/raise level cap blah blah blah) When the game "revolves around these Leves to bring pride to your Nation you reside in". It's like playing a game without a purpose (an Empty Game if you will).
What exactly are you playing the game for? (myself included)
-Getting Your Class to R50 ( Yeah we all know that one)
-What is your purpose for having a R50 right now anyways?
That's why I finish my leves because I know at the "very least" I'm doing something for my nation.
It's absolutely not lazy at all, in order to get the most out of failing leves, you have to show up on time every time 2 out of every 3 days. It takes a fairly coordinated effort to keep that up for 50 ranks.Ya, I'd buy that for a dollar. Makes good sense.
