lol My hoping was rather selfish, it wasn't a 'for the benefit of the game' type wish .
Since most of us that are still around have adjusted to the current system I felt this way a bit at first as well. It is obvious to me though that in the long run, I'm quite glad that they are changing the role of the guildleve system. I'm also glad that they have decided to make guildleves just one of the many things to do in Eorzea.

I would still be happy if they eventually add new leves for more of what they seem to be meaning for "solo" or "casual" content but what I'm really interested in is how the developers are going to encourage teamwork and group play because that is really what makes an MMO stand out from a single player rpg.
