New group based, open world system: Bounty Board or "Bounty of the Twelve"

Bounty Board, a guildleve system named after the heroic group simple know as the Twelve and the guildleve they took commonly know as "Bounty of the Twelve."

The mechanics are simple; form a light or full party, pick up guidleve from the Adventure Hall, head to area and start Bounty. Level should be set at 30, 40, or 50 so that content is challenging. Reward would be gil, xp, and twelve token.

Here is the interesting twist of this system, every so often an Echo event is triggered that transports the party to a time before the Calamity and have them follow the exploits of the Twelve from the early days to the end. It has 4 main NPC and eight recruits (The character the players use.) You'll fight NM from version 1 along side the original Twelve.

Reward would be unique items the Twelve collected that are purchased with the Twelve Token.

Idea came from the original opening from FFXIV.

Although I like the idea of having a bounty/mark board to hunt down specific targets/marks FFXII-style, your idea actually comes across rather like Behest from 1.0.

Unfortunately your idea about using the Echo just wouldn't fit into ARR sadly - not only have the maps been completely redesigned, so the pre-Calamity designs no longer exist and would have to be modelled, a time consuming and expensive enterprise for side content, but also the way the Echo itself is rendered in ARR is completely different to how it was in 1.0 (namely, in ARR it's just like watching an old grainy VHS video with static and a washed out picture - and it's not interactive, unlike in 1.0 where you could often do battles or speak to people while in an Echo).

I still like your idea though anyway, as the basics of it definitely sound fun, but unfortunately I don't SE introducing something like this, at least, not how you've designed it sadly.

Well no need to make the entire world pre-calamity, just a small instance area that the fight takes place in. Shouldn't be too tough to make that up with cut and paste Also the Echo hasn't changed so it can still be used just like v1. Maybe the grainy has something to do with the connection to the individuals or the event?
