    No login boxes on launcher, game rendered completely unplayable

    Surely maintenance isn't going on 5 hours later than planned, is it? And if it is, why isn't anything being said about it?

    I had this same problem when I tried to get on this morning as well. Whatever you do, do NOT try to reinstall your game- I tried doing this and it just made my problem worse; now I'm trying to reinstall the game, but it won't even let me do the initial update for the launcher. I just posted this thread a while ago http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...XIV-Boot-Error I hope someone can help me out or give me some information- my friend is playing the game right now so I'm not sure what's happening.

    Looks to be working now.

    Great communication from SE on this issue! I assume maintenance simply ran long, all the other servers were up apparently. They could've at least told us.
