Berserker is too close to WAR/MRD. I doubt SE is going to introduce another Soldier/Fighter/Warrior base class/job.
I'm certain both SAM and DRK will make an appearance in XIV. They will probably be hybrid DPS with tanking ability. So I don't see much room for Berserker.
