CT Healer/Tank chest drop rates purposely low?

Has anyone else noticed this?

I've run CT 28 times and I have seen a total of zero healer chests and two tank chests. On the other hand, I've seen every other piece drop multiple times.

Not sure if purposely, but sometimes it does feel that way.

The first two times I ever did CT as a PLD, I got Chest piece and then gloves. Since then, though not as many times as you, I have only ever seen 1 PLD chest piece show up. Maybe about 10 - 12 times. And healers? I have never seen show up.

EDIT: I have a BRD in my FC who did CT probably about 4 - 5 times a day, and 10 times both Sat and Sun. He got his BRD piece finally, after near 40 runs. But when I was PLD, it was a BRD piece every other chest. Go figure.

I've seen about 5 or 6 drops for Healer chest and 3-5 for Armor of Light. One of those healer drops included the one I rolled on.

It's just completely random it seems. The only thing consistent is what articles seem to drop for halves of the run. Hands, boots and belt drop in first half, chest, head and pants drop in second half.

I've finished my full tank CT gears this week. Only 1 of the weeks I ran it about 10 times to get a gear, other times I always got one within 3 runs.
I've also seen multiple healer gear drops. So again, RNG is RNG.

Don't know, but if it takes me more than 3 ct runs a week to get something then I'm probably not getting it. That's my limit.

But low droprates is pretty much the name of this game. Been raiding coil since mid november and most of the gear our healers and tanks have are myth. I wouldn't even want to make a bet that I would have the rest of the Allagan tank set pieces before the armor appearance thing is out.

I see the Royal Vest nearly constantly. I got it on my very first CT run on the Thursday after the FATE spawn rates were patched. Last week I probably saw about seven or eight of them drop. But I've only seen one pair of Royal Breeches, and it's the pair I have.

It's just RNG.

Rng is rng, I had to do CT 17 times this week to see my mnk chest drop and saw the tanking chest drop at least 10 times.

I think the problem is more from there being 6 sets with 3(Crimson, of Light, and Royal) of those being shared by 2 classes and 3 (Ballad, Fuma, Onion) being single class sets.

With equal drop rates for the head, chest and pants from Archeron you would have a ~5.6% chance of any specific piece dropping, ~16.7% chance of an "of Light" piece dropping, ~33.3% chance of Royal or "of Light" piece dropping, and a 50% chance of a Ballad, Fuma or Onion piece dropping.

A potentially better drop table for the current* class distribution would have:

25% chance of a "of Light" piece
25% chance of a Royal piece
10% chance of a Ballad piece
20% chance of a Crimson piece
10% chance of a Fuma piece
10% chance of an Onion piece

*The addition of additional classes that can equip Ballad/Fuma/Onion would make what I suspect is the current drop table better.

Should lend me some of that RNG luck It's been 4 weeks and over 80+ runs, still no healer chest! It's not even that I lost roll or anything, just flat out never dropped.
