    When it comes to rewards, endgame is where the prize is. Why does it matter if a high level can go into a mid-level dungeon. The drops won't be geared towards endgame anyway. If you want to stay true as a gamer and go for the challenge, just don't take a high level player in with you...

    The high level dungeon has a cap, and that's 50 the highest level you can gain, the challenge will always remain there, and likely the true prize and drops as well.

    its not an opinion really, it is fact, look at the mid level NMs and thier drops, The fact that a couple level 50s can go and get a certain level ranges gear easily from drops effected the whole game economy, and altered the value of the items. In fact if the monsters were somehow capped, or level adjusted, the drops would have been justified, and not nearly as destructive to the market of items that level. needing 5-8 players to have a high rate of dropping random gear at that level makes sense, to be able 2 tear through the

    NM with 1 to 2 players essentially changed the NMs from we need a light to full party to, i need a high level player

    changed the respawn rate (because a group of 50s kill the NM way faster, and they spawn after death at intervals of 5 minutes)

    changed the value of ever item they dropped, and every item that competes with items they dropped.

    it has lots of very real effects, how others play does effect everyone else in an MMO. then there is also the inability to work with people who are lower level without ruining their experience on your favored jobs. Its a very real reality that if you have friends that are starting, you will eventually not be able to do much with them, their are only 7 classes.

    But really this is what they decided, but you should understand why people think its a bad idea, its not just about personal things, it really is about overall balance of the game, and the very real effect it will have on people of the intended level ranges.
    In the future i hope they will give these things more consideration.

    #1 - because you screw over all the crafters who are making normal-tier rank 30 gear. If all I have to do to get the best rank 30 gear is to steamroll a dungeon with my rank 50 class, there is no reason at all for me to buy gear from a crafter. This is bad for the economy.

    #2 - because it ruins the perceived value of raid gear that it was actually something that players "earned". If you had to complete a dungeon at rank 30 to get rank 30 raid gear, you must have put in a lot of effort, and your rewards are well deserved. If you just steamroll a rank 30 dungeon at rank 50, you didn't put in any effort at all, and your good rewards will have been gotten undeservedly.

    Why is your rank 50 raid gear so valuable and so prestigious? It's because it was hard to get and you had to earn it. If rank 30 gear was hard to get as well, it would also carry a feeling of worth and prestige.

    This isn't about making rank 30 raid gear more valuable than rank 50 raid gear. This is about maintaining a sense of perceived value for ALL items, regardless of rank.

    I really shouldnt be surprised people are moaning about this....but wow. Hope you know you dont have to do the R25 one at R50, its not like SE are holding a gun to your head demanding you do it.
