There's absolutely zero reason to balance rank 10-30 content to be suitable for rank 50s. Not only does that make zero sense,

That's not what I was saying. You balance rank 30 content for rank 30 players, and you balance rank 50 content for rank 50 players. Then, the only way to prevent rank 50 players from overrunning the rank 30 content is to put level caps in place like there were in FF11.



Of course you don't design rank 30 content for rank 50 players that would be stupid and that wasn't what I was talking about at all.
