I must be pretty lucky then...I suppose we'll agree to disagree. Either way, groups like that grind my gears. It's not fun and certainly not a casual-friendly experience. It also isn't hard to form an opinion like that if you were a victim of such people recently. To be fair though, this is an MMO...some social interaction is meant to happen. :P If DF is giving people a hard time, nothing wrong with going with a group of friends or FC members...sometimes those are one in the same.

Many of the people complaining about turn 1-5 are probably the same people crying and overreacting about bard adjustment before 2.1.. there was like 3 threads about it. Then the patch hit and Bard damage wasn't destroyed and is still wanted in every fight lol

I'm actually glad with the change. This way my group that's clearing turn 5 regularly can help out the less fortunate/skilled/casual or w/e the "pros" wanna call them, people in my FC , clear coil.

I always wonder why so many are interested in what others are thinking?
I mean, ... if you have beaten it before - its fine, be proud of it, if not - its fine too, now you have a chance!

Somehow i get the feeling many just play MMOGs to feel better with showing others how awesome they are (strange, because you need 7 others for FFXIV).

Coil 1-5 lockout removal

makes sense, casuals need to catch up so they can experience the current content, all you people that worked hard are already set for 6-9, you don't need to farm old content anymore... stop feeling "betrayed" this happens in every MMORPG, not to mention Coil is part of the story, if you didn't see this coming you are naive.

All you geared players will be showing off in your new 6-9 pieces while the scrubs that were inspecting you right now, will still be inspecting you after 2.2 because they can't beat 6-9.

Also, do you really think casuals will smash 1-5 easily? even with the nerf... I mean look how many people still struggle with Hydra and HM Titan, all those idiots buying runs are gonna have an insanely rough time with 1-5.

relax... 2.2 looks awesome, if you're not happy go play something else.

It all depends on how bad the nerfs are, that's it. Trust me, I'm not saying that it's good to only have one SUPER HARD fight in the game at any given moment..but those people can't just be blocked off at Turn 5, especially as the people searching for T5 is going to dwindle greatly.

Not that I don't agree, but something interesting to consider is that people can buy Turn 1-5 carries now.
