because it is taking the game down for a few hours for no good reason. if it is something major that is one thing, but they have shown they will take the game down for a few hours to change how many fish hooks are made during a synth or how many brass francesca heads are made.

you are on a na forum and the game goes down during the time the majority of the na players are going to be online so it is an inconvenience for no reason in most cases.

Yeah that is going to happen first rule on any server maint is you do it at night... well guess what it will be Nighttime in Japan. Honestly get used to it because this is how it is going to be.

SE should post everytime they go to WC so we are able to discuss that too.
I really don't know what forces people to open a thread about any single detail SE may provide. I mean, a thread about an emergency maintenance? C'mon...

WTF is your problem, this thread is here because the Servers will be going down for 2 hours at some point today and people may have missed it on Lodestone. SE have before done it at very short notice and actually put a full patch in, I don't think it will be 1.18 but it could be something, or it could just be some ridiculous patch like the fish hook "exploit".
