OK so, my Main is MNK and my second WHM. However with 3 other healers ahead of me i rarely ever get to play healer (which im fine with), but this leads me onto which job to gear next.

When i first started SMN was my main, i was a good SMN, DoT rotation was great etc etc. However i havent touched SMN in ages, to the point i feel like its a new job all over again yet ive always had this affliction with SMN. I just really like them. Then i have BLM at 50 (before you ask no BRD is 15 and not high enough though i appreciate if going BLM BRD must have QS).

Im undecided which way to go. BLM is great at burst damage where as SMN is great at sustained damage. I dont intend to use any in turn 5 other than my MNK, but for primals like Garuda/Ifrit, ranged seems to be the prefered option (possibly Leviathan too? time will tell). So i decided its time to gear up a ranged class. I have 1500 myth, so by next week, (1900) i must use them, however i simply cant decide on which path to take.

Anyone be so kind as to help make this decision easier? I dont wanna play both and would like to concentrate on one and get it as good as i can.

any constructive points ont his would be greatly appreciated.
