Enough of the Negativity threads (want to fix the game?)

I know this may seem like a negative thread but its not read to find what i mean.
Want to know how to fix the game? close the forums and if you need help contact a GM or submit a ticket to me forums kills games due to the negative threads people make.
example. I'm quitting to the game for being to easy
i'm quitting due to lack of content (its only been out 5 months)
i'm quitting because i don't get to do certain things but once a week..
i'm quitting cause the game is to hard.

you see where I am going you want to know how to save the game?
Kill the forums because believe it or not the players are what in the end will be what kills the game with all the negative post.. SE is not killing it YOU the players are.
In game be nicer to each other if someone helps you a thank you would go a long way. If someone don't play their job right (in your eyes) give them helpful advice on how to play. don't bash them.

I wish there was a way SE could have a point system on the forums where if you make a SE/FFXIV game bashing thread you would lose points and if you hit -0 you get blocked from posting for a week or so.
In the end like I said you are what determines the fate of the game. If you keep unsubing then there maybe one day the game won't be there to come back to. I said this on another game that had the same mentality as (some people) this forums does. You know what happened? the game was dead in a year. So please STOP with the negative threads please. Me i want to see the game grow and live long as FFXI if not longer. Do you?

Negative threads exist because the game is impacting negatively on people for whatever reason. SE need to listen to the players feedback more and not ignore them (ie with the latency issues that are studiously ignored). Without people paying subs the game will be dead in the water. More constructive criticism is needed, but people pay their money and have a right to have their say.

Rather than negative threads, where people threaten to quit, we should have threads where people gave actual constructive feedback with no bashing to another or to the Devs
That way both could end on a good note.

or censoring dissent for that matter. cracking down on people because they have opposing views/issues with the devs is not cool.

There are plenty, but the general consensus I believe is that we're being ignored anyway which doesn't surprise me given JP corporate culture. It's generally the boss' way or the highway with no tolerance for dissent.

Yeah I don't know anyone who genuinely thinks the game's too hard. If anything it's too easy.

But that's also intentional because they don't plan to make any lasting content whatsoever, only have us jump from 1 hoop to the next with each patch. Some people like that and good for them - I don't. It's why I stuck with XI for 9 years, because stuff was designed to last.

God it's almost like a metaphor for life these days... everything is "me me me" and instant gratification.

I think you're being overly sensitive. A game is a game, some will like it and others wont. Words of wisdom from my soul to yours, quit contemplating wether the glass is half full or half empty... nah I'm kidding, I don't even know where I was going with this

p.s: when things are going good, people tend to not talk about it because it's perceived as the status quo, right? The reason you're seeing all these negative threads is because there is no way to satisfy everyone at the same time... Negativity will always be more vocal than positivity. Lessons of life ft.
