    I like that they are taking coil off the weekly lock because now I can do 1-5 with my static and also help friends that don't have a static. The only thing I'm worried about is what about CT and myths? What will be the real point of them if you can just farm 1-5 and even though some myths are BiS now that doesn't mean you can't just get full Allagan and move on to 6-9 and get the new BiS. I hope there is more to it that they aren't telling us. Removing the weekly lock out and adding the CT style lock per turn would make the most sense imo.

    I don't know about this what about the people that took the time to learn the mechanics get geared out and beat turns 1-5 with the lockout. Is this not kind of a betrayal to the people who work on end game content when its at its most difficult?

    I only looked through the notes once, but I'm sure they only said the weekly lockout will be removed. It doesn't mean they won't implement a weekly gear lockout in it's place.

    Not really. Turns 6-9 are going to be new and the people that actually completed the content when it was hard will be able to tackle the new turns right when it comes out.
    So what if they get the gear? Gear does not mean skill, and I can assure you a lot of those people will still probably not be able to finish the turns (now or nerfed). Plus they want
    content that they release to be accessible to everyone and with the requirement that turn 5 be completed, it would leave a big portion of the community out. Like housing right now lol

    They're not throwing out old content, they're making it more accessible to the rest of us without the time/skill/friends to progress through coil; while giving you more hardcore content to gobble down.     Guess what? Unless you were a part of the BG group that was worlds first to clear Twintania, you didn't beat Turn 5 'at its most difficult'. Get over it.

    good news for me. everyone on my server only does t1 (and t2 since that enrage method was revealed) and call it a day. i try to join t4 groups but they take forever to fill and when i look at t5 descriptions on the party finder the leader is all like "YOU SCREW UP ONCE YOU GTFO!" jfc.

    can't wait to try t4 and t5. will there be a loot lock out system? wouldn't want to lose to a greed roll I mean it is ilvl90 lol

    It absolutely is being thrown out.

    There's no reason to do it anymore unless you're new. XI *never* did that, and I hate all the new MMOs these days because they all do this.

    I see that's a bit more reasonable way to look at it I just like the thought of end game content to remain endgame. to see it nerfed is one of the only big issues I have . I mean my fc we sat there consistently wiping on the phases until we get past that and work on the next one. it just kinda seems like they are giving away content because some people lack the time to do it or want the game to be easyer

    It will certainly be good, but it will still be 50/50 on duty finder,
    Party finder will still be better there anyway you can organize the party, explaining to people who were not in coil how it works with boss fights and more.

    Duty finder will still be people who leave after one attempt or just being a troll who should learn how the game works first.
