Didnt WoW shut there servers off for 6 months or something to fix WoW..? Maybe this is what the game needs.
Yoshi made his game easy from the get go all the way to endgame. Tanaka wouldnt ever do that XI & 1.0 is proof.

Maybe easiest way to fix the casual fest is lower all the currect content of the game. So example Praetoriem being a lv35 dungeon, Binding Coil lv40 etc... sure all those dungeons would need adjustments to the fights but still be just as hard. Probably also remove all lv41~lv50 equipment and make lv50 equipment into lv40 equipment. Then just add Binding Coil 2 as lv43 and keep raising until you reach lv50 being Bahamut Equipment. Would fix casual stuff and wouldnt exactly need a level cap raise right away either.

Edit: Just keep all the lv40-50 actions from all the classes/jobs and just make them all fit under lv40. Lower levels also seem to simple and less enjoyable because lack of actions. lv1~10 only has you using 1-2 actions.
