Loot malfunction in Crystal Tower

I rolled Greed on an item in the Labyrinth of the Ancients (Crystal Tower) for the last loot drop, the one after Acheron. I then left the instance before all the rolls were tallied and the item was distributed. After leaving I received no notification on how the rolls were calculated or whether or not I won the item. I did not receive the item into my inventory so I assumed I lost the roll.

I then went back into the Crystal Tower and now my roll for the week is used up and I never got an item.

I submitted this to SE through the normal channels and they say they refuse to either forward me the Monk-class chestpiece (what I rolled on) or reset my roll for the week.

Can this be fixed and possibly this situation be actually rectified?
