My FC is going back to FFXI... FFXIV FAIL

We all pretty much have a good idea of why FFXIV is failing and might potentially fail within a year or less. To list a few:

1. gearing up is too easy (phil, myth, etc.)
2. horrible economy
3. leveling up is too easy
4. the job/class system is a joke
5. you only need to play 2 days a week to get everything accomplished.
6. PvP wtf?
7. ...oh wait didnt I say a few? my bad I'll stop now lol

The point is, SE and the developers of this game have not listened to their non-casual player base (you know the people who grind it out & keep their subs for more than 3 months) to the point that they are leaving for other games, like FFXI, yes FFXI! An eleven-year-old game is more appealing to Final Fantasy fans than this brand new piece of poo and sad excuse for a Final Fantasy RPG. With that said, I welcome all those who want to play a real Final Fantasy mmorpg to come back to FFXI (phoenix server if you want to join us) and enjoy the new content. Because yes even FFXI receives new content and patches etc. frequently!

I would also like to add that I am not saying in this statement that FFXI is hard, but rather there is a lot more to do and the gameplay is overall superior to FFXIV. Of course this is my opnion, as well as many others, but I can no longer continue to play FFXIV daily for the sake of my sanity. I will continue to cap my myth and check out patches for a while to see if things improve (I hope they do). You cannot deny the errors/flaws of FFXIV whether FFXI has some of them or not. As of now, we find FFXI far more enjoyable and will play it until, if ever, FFXIV improves.

XIV ARR did fail in the sense they decided to revert to the safe route, but in terms of MMOs, it's still alive so it didn't completely fail - Then again people in this community find FFXI a failed MMORPG and say it was never success or "good" so the terms failed/successful is kind of ...odd these days.

LOL, good luck with that. I played FFXI for almost eight years and tried to go back last week. Let's just say it's absolutely nothing like it used to be. The servers are pretty dead now, too.
