    Labrynth of the Ancients (and what needs be done with it)

    in my humble opinion, the instance is to forgiving. with the exception of one boss (a mini boss at that ) only one group in the alliance really needs to pay attention and can practically carry the rest of the alliance thru the instance. this leads to alliance's comprised of mostly trolls still being rewarded at the end of the dungeon with ilvl80 loot and myths.

    make it harder, make to where every member of every alliance has to pay attention or noone wins. if people realize they cant half ass encounters maybe they will L2Play better

    Look at the ilvl requirement for CT.. if you actually had parties that were 100% at the minimum ilvl I guarantee it'd be far more difficult.

    a cap on ilvl in the instance would probably be a push in the right direction, but even that isnt the root of the problem. the mechanics themselves can almost ignored by most members of an alliance. ive been in a few groups where my premade was the only ones doing anything right, like clicking towers or pulling adds. when one group can carry the other 2 thru the mechanics, something is wrong

    Bosses isn't the hard part of ct, it's the trolls and people refusing to work together. Especially people who accuse others of being carried, more people you throw at it worse it gets.

    I phrased it a bit wrong.. the instance was made for a lower ilvl (given that it drops i80), however you have a lot of people that go in that are averaging above the ilvl of the gear that CT grants, so it ends up being far easier (hell look at AK back in the day doing it with regular AF and a half-decent weapon).. the mechanics thing is harder to address.. the only thing that really requires each group to stand for itself is Atomos, everything else slackers can be carried :|

    Capping the iLvl to the required iLvl may be a solution here, overgeared players should have a hard time too, not just a walk in the park and to not carry ppl through.

    Capping should be on every > 50 dungeon as we sync lvl for the low level dungeons

    ya thats pretty much my point, i think the loot and bosses scale fine with its placement in the game, obviously geared pt's will be able to make short work of them. but i still see something wrong with the rest of the alliance being awarded by the oversight. in my opinion its worst in ct than in any other instance in the game.

    one solution that i just thought of, was maybe if they didnt award the tome/loot after each boss, but all of the loot after the last boss, people might be more inclined to behave well. if people thought their trolling could get them kicked before they even got to see a piece of loot they might think twice. this would also help curb the people who queue for the instance then leave after the boss that drops the loot they want/need is killed.

    Ran in two groups last night where everyone but my group refused to kill the bombs during the Vassago fight. After wiping twice, I'd say that it requires a bit more interaction than just one group doing everything.

    There's no way you'd get three groups that have just met each other to do anything difficult. It would just be empty with no one playing it. If SE wont make true 24 player raids then they should just stick to 8 man content.

    Change it to an 8 man raid. Dealing with 7 is already hard enough in DF. 24 man content shouldn't be DF'able. Dynamis was up to 64 players and I've rarely encounter trolls in it.
