What's in my mind is drawn in Pain(t), so yeah =)
I dunno though. Can't find a use of it, and I think that the shaft would break down for the excess of metal on the top after the 5th swing. Maybe only with a really light metal that could be convenient to swing, but if there's not one, I'd find it twice hard to swing that even if the shaft were made with more solid metal.
Just a thought though =)

Yes I would say that isn't over the top (so long as the size is realistic in proportion to the wielder). Gun blades are fine too as contrary to popular belief, they actually exist in our world as well (although we call them Rifle Bayonets)

I would prefer realistic weapons but it would be nice for some artistic flair. Like a pistol/cannon with the barrel designed to look like a dragons head stuff like that.

multicolored swords with enough zigs and zags to make you dizzy....

Weapons that in no way shape or form could ever be practical in real life
Because you know what... this is definitely not real life

Take all of the blades on Lightning's Gunblades in FFXIII... they are all unique, and make absolutely no sense whatsoever... and I LOVE them....

I want a cesti that wraps all the way up the pugilists arms....
