Why are there no gil fountains?

I've been reading up on the economy of the game, and I'm sorry if this point has been made already. It seems to me that a big problem in the economy is that your gil gain relies too much on other players. I don't buy things from other people because I don't know if my stuff will sell and I can't chance losing the money. I imagine others feel the same way. If I had a steady daily income I'd probably worry less and buy more. My idea would be to give players a couple of gold coins for daily quest instead of crystals and myth tomes. Just a thought.

Do the 8-man treasure hunts. Seriously. If all 8 people have just 1 map each that's 12,800 gil MINIMUM per person. Chances are you'll get at least one rare chest with 5,000 gil in so that total will probably be higher. That's also completely ignoring the rare mats that come out of those treasure coffers...

I do 8-man maps with my FC every few days and each person has 2-4 maps to do... usually looking at 30-40k gil in about an hour plus a tonne of HQ mats.

I believe tribal beastmen daily quests do give you gil too.

There are plenty of gil fountains. Dungeons, roulette, leves, fates, treasure maps. And daily quests do reward gil. Hundreds each.

Roulette after the daily bonus continues to give a Gil bonus too. I use it in place of manually selecting multiple instances like i used to when farming for Tomes. Several thousand Gil from the run, then an extra 750 to cover the repairs and then some.

It is a lot if there was anything worth anything other than an expensive crouch room.
