I honestly wish i had come back to see that Cegiana. That would have been something I wanted to see, but I was soured to 1.0 after shelling out for a CE and then getting that game and just not having fun.

The most mind numbing content in 1.23 (Hamlet) is decades ahead of anything current 2.1 has to offer (including lolcoil)
EDIT: I also do not understand why they changed BLM, WAR, BRD and PLD so much. MNK and WHM were the only two jobs that needed any fixing.
Before people say "WAR Rampage Steel Cyclone" was broken, in 1.23 a WAR could easily die to 3-4 Lv.45+ enemies. I don't see that happening in 2.1 lol. I can solo any of the beastmen strongholds on any of my jobs. So point about WAR being overpowered is moot.

Idk, for me considering the sub price is only 12 bucks, I can't really complain.
I mean what do you want for 12 bucks a month really?
Well, 2 points here:
1) You're also spending time, not just money.
And
2) It depends on what else you can get for $12.
If you don't have anything better to do with your time and/or money then I agree that $12 for FFXIV is a really good deal. I think you'll find though that there's stiff competition in the game business for your $12, which means getting something better than what FFXIV has to offer currently isn't an unrealistic expectation.
What competition?? All the MMO's out now suck.... I've tried them.
Only thing moderately decent is Tera.
Well its a game that you are sharing. While your 144$ doesn't seem like a lot for this game, 1/4 of a billion dollars(how much SE stands to make in revenue from subscriptions alone) a year most certainly is.
There are other types of games than MMOs and there are also new MMOs coming out all the time that would be happy to take SE's customers. ESO for one.

King that is your opinion. There are still people playing most other MMo's. There are a number of f2p games. There are also a number of MMo's on the horizen one of which is Camelot Unchained which I'm hoping is an evolved form of the original DAoC before they bugged and rebalanced the game into what it is now(Also the lack of advertisments). Different strokes and all. Some people still pop back to EQ on silver or even gold their accounts because it's so damned big with so much to do. Same with FFXI and AO. Neverwinter is a meh game and D&D online isn't a bad game. There are lots of choices out there many of which are free to play or just have more content or more things to see. Even to this day I personally still think AO probably is the best sci-fi MMo because it captured the essence of sci-fi in how it not only did things but explained them. Also Elin lancer = OP unless they fixed the hitboxes because I remember tanking MC HM and the 1-shot attacks would go right over my tiny head. And if Tera didn't suffer from the SK attitude that they need to put out a good game that will grab people then move on to the next project it would have been FAR more successful. They didn't have much content released for it after it was put out. They also didn't have much more in SK. We got msot the updates at the same time and they made the RNG your final enemy with the way it rolled stats and you needed the MW scrolls to try and MW stuff. Which was just dumb.
yeah except, good luck if your gonna try to play F2P Tera, and never spend any money on it haha, trust me been there don't that, 12 bucks is cheap
