Daily Learning Runs through PT Finder!

Hey everyone,

Last night I put up a PF asking for anyone of any level for any dungeon to teach them. After quite a bit of waiting, someone joined and requested Thornmarch. We filled in the remaining spots, went over the strategy, managed to snag a win, and we had a lot of fun!

I would like to continue doing this periodically throughout the week, as I got a lot of positive feedback. Keep an eye out around 6-7pm EST for my PF and join in the fun! If you are stuck on a particular dungeon or trial, I will help you out as best as I can (going over strategies, job specifics etc.).

NOTE: I do have a coil group so I unfortunately can't walk through runs with anyone because of lockout, however if you have any questions about it, shoot me a tell and I'd be glad to answer. Also, I don't have much experience with the EX primals so it would be learning for me as well if it is requested.

Remember, any level can participate, but it is first-come, first-served. I can't promise a win for everything (Titan comes to mind), but I can certainly give you the necessary information to not be afraid of PF runs where people make harsh demands.

I think this is a great idea. With so many people asking that "you know the fight" its hard to learn the fight in the first place. Good luck to you and this kind community enriching idea.

No takers tonight, had to stop short for LS stuff, unfortunately. I will still be putting it up throughout the week.

Last night, no takers for a dungeon, though I had a person join looking for advice on first time Hydra. Managed to convince him to muster up the courage to join DF and I believe he got the win! (Was running an event last night so hard to talk). I'll be on fairly soon to open it up again.

Today got someone to join looking for Ultima HM tips. Put together a learning run with a few newcomers. Didn't get win, but got to the 2nd set of orbs a few times. If nothing else, it got everyone a feel for the fight and learn a few things about how to handle it. Going to keep it up this week periodically, so keep an eye out for it if you need anything

It's been a busy week irl, but I hope to be able to offer more learning runs over the weekend. Did another Thornmarch open learning run for some LS-mates that needed last night, and we got the win in 2 attempts. I encourage others to offer the same types of things, as too many PF's on our server have been abhorrent, and I can't be on as regularly lately. As a Legacy server, we should be a better example of how the community used to be.
