You play this dungeon the way I play it. The way the "majority" plays it, or you get vote kicked. You must be some type of noob if your deviate from the plan laid out by someone in a video. No one has time for fun or enjoyment or exploration. Just hurry up and kill everything so I can come back and do this 50 more times!

1-You will go a whole content tier either not getting a single upgrade for that one slot or you'll be showered with gear in the first month.

2-Bad players will rip your throat out when you try to help them improve, but decent players will take your advice and be grateful you went out of your way to help them.

3-Your performance in PvP is directly related to the type of music you listen to when you pvp so you better have a whole lot of punk and rock music in your playlist as long as it's not death metal that stuff just makes your ears bleed.

    1) If you are a tank, being mean is mandatory. You are also free to run ahead of everyone and get yourself killed. It's their fault for not keeping up.

    2) Everyone else is a bad player. You are not. The fact that the party happens to win a dungeon after you complain and quit and they get a replacement is completely irrelevant.

    3) Everybody knows all fights before they have done them even once. Watching a video beforehand is mandatory and completely normal, just as it was back in the day when you played offline Playstation games and the first thing you did after sticking in the disk was whip open a GameFAQ's site, because obviously figuring out anything by yourself is just a waste of time and you will feel much prouder after accomplishing something you had full instructions on how to complete without needing to have any skill beyond reading / video watching comprehension.

    4) Lag is fake. Since you don't have it, it is absolutely impossible for anyone else to have it. They are just bad players.

    5) No fight is tough. All you need to do is dodge. If a player gets hit by any enemy move, they are simply a bad player. It is obvious, since you have never died yourself. Or if you have, it wasn't your fault. Some other player in your party caused your death.

    6) Dungeons that drop iLVL55 gear needs to be completed by people in iLVL90 gear. This is clearly the way the game was designed.

Even though your playing an online game made mostly as a online Co-Op experience people will hate grouping together and demand to do things solo.
Or you could make your own group by hand or with party finder and stop being a prick to those new to the fight.

1- If you didn't watch a video on how to do something beforehand you're liable to be kicked or have people drop from the group because NOBODY has ever had to figure it out "manually"

    2. If you claim you're a first timer and flawlessly execute your role in the party, you may get showered with praise and commendations. However, if you die once you are likely about to receive undeserved derogatory slurs, possibly racial and/or sexual terms, before having other members drop or vote kick you out.

    3. If you give someone a tip on their job whilst not on said job, the person may take it to heart and thank you for the tip, or they will "yell" at you in all caps saying you don't know how to play the job because you're currently a (insert job here) and not a (insert their job here)

    4. Someone is automatically a "noob" if they still have a single piece AF1 armor at level 50 several months after the game has been released, even if it is the person's second, third, or even fourth job or character

    5. Lag is nonexistent because the person who is saying so has a great internet connection, therefore everyone does too.

    6. If you put something up on the market you have to undercut the current lowest price item or item that most recently sold the cheapest by half or more. This way, you will be sure to get your gil near immediately.

I, for one, love (melodic) death metal (favorite band is Hypocrisy) and would much rather be listening to it over punk rock. Nothing wrong with punk or any other genre, just personal preference. And death metal certainly doesn't make your ears bleed. (/sarcasm) YOUR MUSIC MAKES MY EARS BLEED! (/endsarcasm)

That said, metal certainly isn't the only music I like and I almost always prefer listening to the in-game music over playing music separately.

Yeah are you kidding me, a few days ago I saw a Party Finder FC application test where the person wanting to join the FC would have to enter Titan HM with the FC and survive the fight. I was just staring at the screen.. I wouldn't join that FC even if they PAID me.

This made me lol. It's so true. I don't ever look up how to do things in a game before I at least try.

If in reference to what I quoted,I'm being a prick? Just stating what usually happens when someone lets you know they are new to a fight. Not sure why people set such high expectations for a DF group of all things.

My second part just seems to be something I noticed about online gaming communities. Just always seemed odd to me that people have such a view in games that are built around grouping with other people for entertainment.
