You could probably make even Twintania a solo encounter with some stat edits and possibly a change with the adds/jailing methodsI wouldn't mind a battle like titan but as a solo encounter. Something that would be require very tight skill check that only skilled players would pass while the rest beat their head against it for weeks/months. The actual fight would have to be much harder then titan because the hardest part of titan is getting 7 other people to not screw up (if titan was a solo battle it would actually be very easy).
Seeking recognition of ”some one (by people you never going to meet)” for “something” than don’t have any impact in your real live and their entire purpose is for amusement, its not healthy and those people should consider rethink their goals in life.
Also this post a few pages behind summarizes perfectly most of the situation:
I think the bottom line is this:
We all show respect in different ways for different reasons. We all have different opinions of what "fun" is. We all have different ideas of what is challenging, and whether or not we want things to be easier or more challenging.
No MMO will ever cater to ALL of those differences. You can get on this message board and post your ideas, your desires, your dislikes, and might reach the developers and make a difference.
What you won't do is convince other forum users that your thoughts and ideas are better, or more correct, or whatever. You're just being silly. You're also part of the reason people on the game say to newcomers "Welcome to the game! Avoid the forums."
Si hablas español este post es importante para ti: http://bit.ly/1vZI4Gc
This thread is.... weird. I'm in awe of people who have done amazing things, I'm in awe of Darwin, Newton, Einstein and any other person who changed mankind. I'm in awe of people who achieve greatness like Michael Schumacher or Pele. How anyone thinks I should be in awe of someone who has played a game longer than me I'll never know.
I can remember when I first started FF11, I was level 30 something and learning my job. I saw a level 75 PLD in Sandy, he had all the shiny gear on and I can remember thinking "He looks cool, I'll bet he's a really good tank" Then I got to 75 myself and started endgame and realised two very important facts of MMO life.
1. Level does not equal skill
2. Gear does not equal skill
And that was pretty much that. Good players can struggle to get enough people for fights and poor players get carried through content by their friends all the time. There is nothing wrong with that per say but it doesn't mean because they have a shiny sword they're any good.
If you want respect from your fellow players then you get it the same way you'd get it in life. Be competent at your job, be nice to people, help out if you can and put other people first sometimes. Demanding respect because you outgear someone will just get you laughed at or scorned, and quite rightly so.
I have been in Turn 5.You don't seem to understand the issue:
1) You haven't experienced all the fights in the game so whether you think they are difficult or not is irrelevant.
2) Tanking is easier than DPSing (if you play DPS properly...I have my doubts)
3) There are several: not just 1. Might know this if you were in coil more often.
Tanking is way more stressful to play as cause they are easier to blame than a DPS.
Are you serious? You have trouble with the other four stages? Ok, then I don't think you know what you are talking about.
Oh, the old "I have a piece of gear or achievement that you don't- therefor your opinion doesn't matter... and I can exaggerate my own opinion and pretend to be important"
People are REALLY desperate to feel special, aren't they?
Everyone's opinion is worth the same amount of dog poo... no one is special. There just might be more than one particular color of dog poo...
Why should I respect some dude who lives in his mother's basement? Does he get special recognition from the company that makes his MMO's? Don't think so.
Hell I think an EVO competition winner deserves more respect than some lvl 100 guy. Least he earned some REAL money...
i respect those that help others, and instead of calling new people "f***ing retards" they give advice and help them do it right. I don't respect anyone with gear, or high level. why should I? That full Myth tank can still very much be a crap tank, and most full allagan people i've run into are complete assholes.
Protip: Treat everyone with respect and don't be an ass, try to help people just for the fun of doing so instead of selling runs, and voilà, there you have your well deserved respect from other players.
What you are really asking for is not respect, but e-peen stroking and worship from those that you feel that are inferior to you. If you want a game that feeds your ego with something virtual look somewhere else.
P.S.: This has nothing to do with harder content (actually harder, not Titan-like harder... coughdelaycoughcough...). I'm against the wording/attitude and against things like that only 50% of the playerbase should be able to level up to the new level cap (WTF, this is way worse than grinding), or punishing lowbies in a game where some people charge money for helping you, or making you look like a super saiyan with glows and other weird things everywhere.
I find the only thing stressful is healing. Tanking is by far the easiest in this game, and DPS is only easy if you don't care about maximizing DPS and dodging.
You should have bought an authenticator.....
Your tears feed me....
Oo I am noticing a trend with you!Well la-de-da, aren't you fancy? I hope to one day reach your level of skill and awesome where I no longer consider anything in this game tough!
If I told the other guy I don't care about the adulation of others, what makes you think I give any number of airborne rodent posteriors about what you think of me?
...what is with 'rodent posteriors' that make you reference it in every thread?
Why do you type with such anger? gawd
