Had a first timer (sch) in brayflox HM last night. Did pretty well but got run over early at the last boss. Me (blm) spammed physik on the tank while the other dps kept up the attack. Got a little hairy but we survived. Felt kind of bad when I saw the respawned sch standing outside, locked from the fight though.

Got Moogle HM during DR Trials last night.

Zone in, interesting party composition: 2xBRD 2xSMN 2xPLD 2xWHM, oooh, that one SMN has low HP ~Checks gear~ So, AF gear and i70 two star crafted accessories. Okay, I can accept that. Rest of the party is fairly decked out with HPs in the 3.7K+ range and the PLDs have 6.3K+ HP. Should be a simple fight.

Take a few minutes to determine which tank is tanking whom and which healer is gonna focus primarily on which tank. It takes a few minutes to get a response but after six lines of text in three minutes, away we go!

Mobs being pulled and downed quickly, awesome. Someone is marking mobs in the proper order, doubly awesome. My tank is quite durable, so I'm gonna pop Cleric's Stance and DPS a little while he's healthy and swap as needed. Oops, his HP dipped a little low there, my bad!

Sweet, that's all the adds down, though that one low HP SMN died twice already, we can compensate for that.

Here comes the big guy! ~Goes and reapplies Stoneskin on all members of the party while the mini-CS is going~

Alright, mass confusion! I pop a Swiftcast + Holy into the group once I see a Flash or two go off and the two tanks position their mobs where they're suppose to be. Oh crap, that BLM Moogle is casting Flare, oh, phew, he died, woo!

Looks like things are going okay, oh, there's the Provoke circle ~Runs away~ Oh, why aren't the people runni- ~Suddenly, the two DRGs, one low HP SMN, and the other WHM go splat~

...well crap.

Oh, we're at 2 and 3/4 bars of Limit, if I can solo heal for a little, I'll be able to get LB3. ~Begins to focus heavily on heals while the other SMN gets our dead WHM back up~

~Hears the "DING" of the LB3 being charged!~

SWEET, LET'S DO THIS!

~Runs to the middle and uses LB3 just as Provoke Circle shows up~

...well crap.

~Gets everyone up, I get provoked, dies horribly to ensuing AoE~

Morale of the story: I don't always use Limit Break 3, but when I do, I make sure to ignore all mechanics while doing so, and die a horrible horrible death ~Mangledcat~

Still won though!
