I get that feeling when I DPS because the strength of dps determines the speed of most runs, ADS is not going down in 6 ticks on tanks alone. I think the responsibility for tanks is always there but for dps it's back loaded, since the ways to test dps just aren't viable for dungeons that are meant to be easy. The means to judge their performance is also not straightforward, you can tell when dps is weak but you can't assign blame when there is never a solo dps. It's telling that so many DPS go frothing mad at the idea of parsers, because they are getting that one feeling they try to avoid; the feeling of responsibility.

But in difficult content, all roles should be responsible and no one gets a free pass. So it's wrong to think DPS lovers are just avoiding responsibility, good players take in a lot and take it seriously.
