How good is a 90ms ping? I live in south east coast USA. Would a tunnel lower my ms - how much roughly, and would it be noticeable? Would using a tunnel even be worth it?

1000ms = 1 second
.09 of a second is nothing. im @150ms and i have no issues
Playing from EU without a tunnel and don't have any problems with latency in any content. 90ms is extremely good in the context of this game.
You're not likely to get anything better than that to be honest. It's a very good ping.
In most competitive online games (especially fps games like BF) you want to keep it below 50. Ideally less than 20. In this game you probably are going to be ok.
I have around 90 ms. In Planetside 2 I can shoot a guy 5 times in the face and still die first but in this game I have no problem dodging plumes, eruptions, and t5 divebombs.
All tunneling services offer free trials. If you are concerned, give one a shot and see if you notice any difference.
I laughed harder at this than I should've. It's like what I experience with all FPS I play at least a couple of times through any given session.
As for 90 ms, you are solid as far as I know. The only delay I ever saw in this game was from gaming on a PS3. have since switched over to PC. No problems now.
Thanks for the feedback so far. Isn't Titan ex and other raid encounters on a .3 latency? I can dodge stuff but I have to move ASAP with no wiggle room. I was told it might drop to about 50 - so I'm gathering 90ms is average and doable on a perfect encounter when reflexes are required, but has room to improve possibly.
If it helps put some things in perspective, my ping to the u.s datacentre is 79ms on average-- and the game is silky smooth for me. The aoe indicators function just as they should, and when I do get hit by an attack it's because I was noticeably too slow. The only thing that appears odd every now and then is how other players respond. Meaning, sometimes I have no idea how they got away from an attack when the character model is clearly still in the zone. Not often though, and that says to me the animation is just catching up. But as far as how the game responds to me, it's fine. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
Here is some information for anyone that's interested in their own ping. I just googled and found this. Btw, don't dl the app. Checking it through CMD prompt is far easier.
