hello all! im new to the game and was noticing alot of people going around saying they are doing a certain amount of dps giving specific numbers and i was just curious as to how they came across this info? is there a 3rd party damage meter like recount from wow? if so is it available for ps3? any info on this would be much appreciated thanks!

Third party damage meters and their use are against the Terms of Service and using them will get you banned. That's why nobody is saying anything.

This should answer your question more in-depth. While they are currently no reports of anyone getting banned over using this, there is this case that someone was "Warned". The community is still waiting on an official response from SE that has been updated to the recent circumstance.

those dps meter are used by many ppl for a long time (even before ARR) and some saying publicly that they use it and no ban yet.i think SE already said they wont ban anyone that use it since its only a tool and dont touch server memory or something like that.
