Thread: Not having much fun in DF lately

Really getting quite bad lately .

Like one DPS had lvl 46 gear on , the good dps quit , then tank quit because dps was too slow.

Then I get group with another DPS who was wearing mostly pink/grey items , I just quit and took the 30 minutes for that .

Then got tank who couldn't take a hit , another 30 minutes .

Did some primals, healers failed and group vote disbanded after first wipe .

Anyone else getting some bad RNG on groups lately ?

Lately I feel like whenever I run AK, someone drops that blasted orb on me as I'm tanking Anantaboga in the corner. More than once in the same run. That almost never happened before 2.1.

Aside from that, DF parties have been the usual. Sometimes quiet people, sometimes people from roulette who just want the thing over with as quickly as possible, sometimes newbies who flounder in the beginning but improve with tips from the party. No real under-geared or rude players that I recall.

Probably just depends on what you queue for.

Usually get groups that says their greetings the beginning and not a word till the dungeon is over. But once in a while you will get those noobies who like Bamboofox stated that "flounder in the beginning but start to improve".

Then once in a blue moon you get those bads who, even though tips are given out, they refuse to learn and just suck. Like a PLD I had today while leveling my alt didn't put on a shield and refused to use flash when grabbing mobs. Healer had to heal him self more then the tank because 2+ mobs were on him. After mentioning to put on a shield and use flash more (very politely), he said to "stfu" and kept going about his business.

All I can say is... welcome to the internet.

My DF runs have been uneventful generally until yesterday in Tam-Tara. I joined in-progress and understood why the previous healer left. The tank just wasn't tanking at all. DPS were giving him tips and he just never responded, and never said a word the entire run. He generally just auto-attacked.
It was incredibly strange, seriously wondered if we were playing with a bot :/

Thats what I felt too until he told me to stfu haha...

LOL, so a healer is supposed to carry a party that has bad dps in AK for example. LOL sir. Its not up to ONE person carrying others. 3/4 or 6/8 usually have to be good enough to carry that 25% that are bad/ not geared. The people that really failed is SE for their LOW LOW LOW! Ilvl requirements. Tried running Lab in my AF1 gear and all 48/49 accessories and it was a nightmare, i50 is way too low for that dungeon specifically. I60-65 would be a way better requirement to have. Sure, dps dont need to be that well geared, but healers and tanks need it.

I tend to DF as Lancer instead of dragoon so that I have flash a d provoke and can play tank if they are useless or just need a little support - basically I play the healers Line of defense, course that's mainly low roulette dungeons, though it is scary how many lvl 50 tanks there are without a clue, guess that's the bad thing about one char can do all, a 50 can be fully geared but clueless

I had one of those in Hali. grab one mob, ignore others, when that was dead would run and pull the next pack leaving the rest of us to deal with those nibbling on the healer. Recomended to flash, then throw out some overpowers. Replied "Im doing that". He wasnt. Luckily I was on SMN and Titan tanked it.
