I disagree that "they all should be punished" ... I'd say that everyone who voted to kick should be punished.

If someone is being voted out, for an invalid reason, those who vote to keep the person should not be penalized for participating in the vote.

That is what I said. Wasn't aware I needed to clarify the implied lol.
