CT Vote Kick for wanting to lot an item

I usually don't post in the forums but this really pissed me off. I queue for CT as a BLM wanting to lot on the caster body, it takes 1 hr 31 min to get a party cause its early during the day and people are not home. I get in the party and while waiting for the people to watch the cs i examine the other blm whom does not have the body. 10 seconds later i get kicked from the party for no reason, i assume its cause the blm didnt want to lot against somebody and he has friends in the party. Report to GM and nothing happens, not even a response in hours. Sorry but this is crap, they need some fail-safe where you cant get kicked for stupid shit like this. Thank you have a good day!

Nobody can fix stupid. There is nothing SE can do to give anyone any amount of tool or skill that someone will not find a way to grief for fun or for their own personal gains. You were right to report the incident. Bring it to SE's attention. They however will never tell you what they find or any actions taken if any on the other people.

Pretty much this. You're not going to see what, if any, action they take when you make reports. Heck, even bug reports go mostly without response until you see it in the patch notes.

If they're serious about policing the Vote Kick then they'll at some point release data on action taken against abusers. Just something general like they do with RMT ban hammers.

Once someone initial vote kick, they cannot kick again due to 4 hour cd (?). I think it takes more than 1 person to kick someone out of the group. Its really a gamble to vote kick someone due to gear, because there is another chance another blm can take that place or you can queue again for an in progress one and slot right into that group you got kick from.

That stinks, but, be glad that they didn't kick you AFTER the body dropped?

I don't know. I generally see it the other way around. I will come into CT and the other tank will say, "are you rolling on body or legs?" and I'll say, "yes", and they will say, "okay, bye" and take off.

remember, you can't use vote-kick when there is something in the loot list any more. kill them while they are young.

If the idiots keep on kicking other people with same jobs and being reported, GM will have a record of all those and in the end they should get punished, hopefully... and by punished not no easy 72hr crap, should be a week ban on first offense, perm ban on 2nd offense.

You're right, but the issue with this situation is that it was a premade party. Another BLM in said party didn't want to roll against Quince here and so they vote-kicked him. I don't remember that being under AFK, Harassment, Cheating or the other option. If you reported it, they won't let you know what happened to the individual or the party as a whole (because they all should be punished tbh. make an example of them). Whether SE does anything or not, we will probably never know.

I disagree that "they all should be punished" ... I'd say that everyone who voted to kick should be punished.

If someone is being voted out, for an invalid reason, those who vote to keep the person should not be penalized for participating in the vote.
