Timeworn Boarskin Map and the Elusive Wind Up Tonberry

So I've done at least one of these maps every day since patch 2.1, sometimes 2-3 a day. I'm over 35 maps easily, and STILL HAVE NOT SEEN MY LITTLE STABBY BUDDY.

Anyone know an estimated drop % for this little guy? Anyone else in this same boat of "I should have just sold all these maps and bought a %*#$*%&@ Tonberry"??

I've been doing one map per day since the patch. I now have almost all the trophies but have yet to see a single minion out of the level 50 chests. I intend to keep at it until I get them all, but yeah, the odds do seem rather low. And none of my FC mates have even seen one, either.

I'm not sure if this is a problem or just bad luck; it just depends on how low the drop chance is. Which is something we do not know.

I've done somewhere between 80-100 (Could be over 100 but I'm trying to be conservative) Peisteskin maps since 2.1 and I've seen only 1 blue bird. The pets seem quite rare.

Think FC wide we've gotten a few Tonberries and Blue Birds as drops.. they're very uncommon much like the Nightmare whistle from Ex primals. I suppose on the "plus" side it is something "rare" to grind for.. ^^;;

I only started doing Boarskin maps maybe 2 weeks ago, maybe 1 per day or a little less as I tend to forget.

Gotten 2 Tonberry Minions so far.

I dont even try for the Bluebird one, odds are just too insanely small for one to drop and then you're rolling against 7 others for it.

Those its best to do with friends/FC, with the rule of your map your loot.. doing a pickup PF you'd have to trust that everyone will behave.. the 8-mans are doable with 3 or 4 people (+ chocos), if you're decently geared.

Sadly, my FC is too obsessed with getting housing money atm, so they'd insist it be sold and put into the housing fund I expect.

Bluebird pricing is dropping like a stone on my server lately, almost easier to get a Tonberry, sell it and use the money to buy a Bluebird for the same price now. Of the two though, the Tonberry is my favorite by far, especially so after going through the Scholar storyline to the end. The way he waddles/walks is just too cute. =)

Good to know.. fewest I'd done was the 3 to 4.
