lightning fate weapons

I was wondering sence i missed the first one if for the lightning fate are we able to get any/all the weapons or if can only get the for the class we do it on.

You can get any/all the weapons you want. The fate used in the first quest drops 2 of the item you need to turn in for the quest, you use the 2nd one to trade in for a weapon. You can farm the fate for as many of those as you want to buy all the weapons.

ok thx i am a collecter and do plan to at some point have everything at 50 and i love vanity weapons and armor

Yeah, same here. Have all the lightning weapons stashed in my armoire, now that they can go inside it :P

Now just need to wait for vanity! Though sadly I main casters, and I find the melee weapons from this event waaay cooler looking.

Yeah, the mage FFXIII weapons were a weird twig like thing for CNJ/WHM that looked vaguely like Vanille's weapon from XIII (but not exactly the same), the clock staff Mog used in FFXIII-2 for THM/BLM, and a strange fold-out 'book' that looked like Hope's boomerang weapon from FFXIII crossed with a chocobo feather for ACN/SMN/SCH. Lightning's gunblade for GLA/PLD was definitely the coolest.

The book was kinda cool, but the 2 staves were very meh.

I'm having trouble completing the quests. I've already done 'For the Winsome' and 'Seeking the Scoop', but when I go to Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre in Old Gridania Kipih Jakkya, the next quest giver in the chain, has no quest for me. Am I doing something wrong?
