Logical additions to make next patch

    1. Appearance Slot: This game has some incredible item design and this isn't counting event gear. this concept has existed in other MMO's since 2005. Why didn't the game LAUNCH with such an option?
    2. Activatable Guild Tax: This idea was unceremoniously taken from Rift. It's an option that Guild leadership can enable that takes a small percentage of money from each player's kill loot and deposited into the guild bank to be used for guild functions.
    3. Option to Perma-disable cutscenes: self-explanatory.
    4. Access Tradeskill materials from storage: SWTOR has a feature that allows players to craft their items without having to have them on their person. If the materials are stored in their vault, they can craft what they want without having to go get it. There could even be a option that guild leadership allows players to use guild materials as well. Crafters would love you to the end of days if this were available.

From what I understand, they are putting in an appearance slot in the next patch

this was also allegedly supposed to happen on the "pvp patch". Seriously, does anyone actually do anything with pvp more than try it once? ... if that? I realize SE wants to pander to the numb-wit wow-fugees who believe that arena pvp is cool (it's not... open world or GTFO!). But pvp does nothing for this game. such a waste of time, energy, money and resources creating and maintaining the pvp concept in this game.

Nonsense! Half-transparent, unreadeable when on bright areas chat boxes are a tradition of Final Fantasy! To place a transparency slider would be to DESTROY what Final Fantasy stands for!

Couple other additions which only make sense to implement:

    1. Able to use your Chocobo even though you are in Duty Finder. Seriously... why would popping him dump you from DF (or being in DF keep you come popping him)? Yes, he's a "party member" but he's also a temporary entity... basically a Pet. Pets do not keep people from entering DF... so... yea... There's no genuine reason to not allow this except lazy coding.

    2. Bard speed song disengaging in combat or crossing a zone. There's no reason to having it completely disengage to the point where they have to recast the song. Just disable to speed but leave the buff active (unless they play another song of course or purposefully choose to disengage it). Speed song is no different than riding a mount. we dont have to re-engage mounts when we cross a zone... Yes, it's a nominal thing but still...

    Yet another entry:

FIX THE QUEST JOURNAL SO THAT WE CAN DECIDE WHAT WE WANT SHOWING! OMG!!!! this is beyond ridiculous as to why this wasn't a DAY ONE feature. seriously... is there even a modicum of logic as to why WE cannot control what we see for out on screen quest list? No... there isn't. Lazy coding. nothing more.

Can we please get a controller option to set R1 and L1 to only scroll through PC/party/alliance members, and not enemies while the crossbar is toggled on? It's really annoying that we can't set filters to already do this. I want to be able to keep my crossbar open, and see my skills on my healer just like when on a dps job. If I could do this one thing, it would make the game sooooo much more enjoyable as a healer job. Toggling back and fourth just to scroll through the party list feels so archaic compared to dpsing while using a controller.

Edit: Another thought came to me in sleep. If we had a <st> (select target) or <stpc> (select target player character) macro option that would allow temp use of the dpad while the crossbar was still open, this could be a problem solver also. There just needs to be a way for healers to have the same target swapping speed as dps while using a controller.

When you don't have the hotbar active and use the D-Pad you are already using the "select target" or "soft target" arrow to move between party members left-to-right visually, or up-and-down along your party list. All without losing your main target when you finally do cast a spell. What's the difference?
