...which is still possible under the banner of proper forum decorum.Too late. Discussion should have already happened a month and a half ago when the outcome could have been changed.
This is why the people whining wait wait wait and see are wrong.
You get **** decisions from the developers, and now it's too late.
Now you can only address the real problem, which are fans of bad systems that drive the creation of bad systems to begin with. At that point, the only thing you can fix are the players who are wrong, defending wrong and silence them so their drivel doesn't infect any more content.
(hey sweet that rhymes)

If someone is willing to level up 4 characters to 25 then more power to them, also Lala clones won't be as much as a big deal when they start charging. I mean who in the hell would pay for 4 characters to solo a dungeon?
Thanks Bayohne, as always!
And anyway... "How can it be difficult if everyone 25+ can do that raid? I can go with my R50 party and zerg rush the sh*t out of it."
Well... DUH!? It's called R25+ because it's challenging for classes around R25+! It's called R45+ because it's challenging for classes around R45+!
What did you want, challenge and difficulty for R25 content even though you're R46? If that's so, reroll a character and do your R25 stuff. That's a Low-Level Dungeon.
Ninja-Edit: I wonder if they'd put a R30 cap for that dungeon how'd you guys react. I think worse =D

Just maybe..... if you have higher rank/level player in your party than level requirement (say R/L50 in R/L25+ dungeon) the mob settings get that harder?? I forgot what game had this... but 1 high level player can screw up the dungeon if it was meant for everyone is required to play a part like 4 switches at 4 locations, etc. But for Soloing purpose asking friends at 25+ to join and trying out on 50 might be fun to try![]()

also, champions online is a game that has that

Not really. Some players are just threats to quality control and don't have the maturity to be reasoned with. They simply do not want to be told by some R30 dungeon that they aren't good players, becasue good players are rank 50 and they're rank 50!
Childish mentality doesn't comprehend civility or reason. They will meet that with tantrum and selfishness.
To treat such childishness with civiity and reason just gives them the impression that their opinions are valid when their opinions are ruining the game.
This R30 dungeon should have been a wakeup call to the R50s that their rank won't save them, only their proficiency will. And yet the opportunity is lost to the terrible players who think they're below rank 30 content when they're not.
Make it so.

This is in regards to solely the rank 50 dungeon (mostly because I'm still confused about having a rank 25/30 dungeon with no level cap).
I understand the idea of having a minimum entry requirement regarding the number of players attending. But isn't making that number at precisely the maximum number of possible players in a party extremely limiting? For example, saying you can't enter Limbus without 18, or Salvage without 12, but having those also be the maximum number of entrants?
If you let parties of 6 enter, even if the dungeon is too difficult, at least those 6 players can give it a shot with the friends available. Make some progress, hone their skills on the early part of the dungeon until time runs out, acquire some SP/rewards, etc. My concern is having those 6 available and then being required to randomly shout for an additional 2 (if those could even be found). Currently in FFXIV, there isn't a mechanism to do that in any way that isn't utterly painful. And I can't imagine anything more frustrating than having 7 members ready to go and simply not being able to find an 8th, in a game that literally has zero other content for rank 50s.
So, am I missing something here? I think someone brought this up before, but a linkshell with something like 15 available players will only service 8, while the remaining 7 are out of luck (or have to find the aforementioned random dude). This obviously gets more difficult as the remainder of available players deviates from multiples of 8.
