For starters. That's a lot of games that aren't Dragon Quest and didn't flop.

Sounds to me like someone's judgement is biased by emotion.

FFXIII should be on that list too. It may not have been well received by fans, but, by definition, it was still a commercial success.

Probably yeah. I just didn't want to open up the can of "well if your definition of 'not a flop' is a crappy game like FFXIII" worms. And besides, it's nowhere near a comprehensive list.

No I wouldn't go that route. I might have mis-givings on it and other fans did but critics loved it and sales figures would say otherwise as well. But that list does have some "flops on it" even if the games were good. Nier being a glaring one (best game ever)
