I hope they dont nerf if they go and reduce requirements, that ruins the current set of higher level NM's.
If people wanna attempt to solo or duo let them, even if its impossible lol elitism will be happy!

The ideal solution would be to balance content in a way that you can get by the skin of your teeth when you're short one person, but any less than that the dungeon in question is pretty much impossible. Lowman world mobs are alright, but that won't go over well if you have that kind of stuff going on in instanced dungeons. At least, not at appropriate level.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)

Se should unlock Dungeons now. just make the main mobs unkillable or near unkillable unless you have 8 people.
Sorta like dynamis/ksnm99s/ect...., you could go in with 1 person... but goodluck.

Yuck. World of Warcraft (I'm not up for it.) Different content, different names, different systems. Raids and dungeons can go to Hell.

That doesnt make sense. instances have been around before WoW...and i'm sure raiding dungeons/ the name Raid for large party dungeons has been too.
Similar to when a SWAT team carries out a raid on a building, you go in with a large team. Thats all raid means when it comes to dungeons: Assaulting with a large team. And as far as dungeons go...well thats obvious. Besides, i'm sure they will have official names later, not just called raid dungeons.

More stupidity. FFXI had instances, dontcha-know.
I say bring on raid content in conjunction with lots of overworld content too, which is apparently exactly what Yoshida intends to do.

FFXI was NEVER dull enough to release cut and dry "raids and instances". You mean Assault? Einherjar? Nyzul Isle? Salvage? Each has its own set of systems, unique name, and unique theme. They aren't like wow crap.

Let's compare the year 2000 to the year 2666, you know, since we're comparing the future to what's already happened and all.

Yup, that's when Bacon will rule the Devil World, emerge from the center of the Earth And ENSLAVE US ON...
going to Baconator at least one time per day.

I think the fact that they even keep calling it "raids" and "dungeons" Like 90% of MMOs takes away from what we are used to in FFXI, unique names and rules.
When i hear "raid" i hear kill mobs til back room and kill boss...which is done in so many MMOs, its like a cliche.
