and its possibly 2 hours a day
that adds up quick you know
a dungeon in wow takes 3 hours to complete, and they can only be done once a week....technicaly, thats even worse

Never playing Warcraft; I still feel that playing the same dungeon over and over just because it can be done daily instead of weekly is very unappealing.
As a multiple R50 player who is waiting patiently, starting over on yet another class just to enjoy one low level dungeon isn't appealing either.
...again i hope they are hiding something...more...

we also have the upcoming ifrit battle to look forward to also
and thats not counting future planned content
its unfortunately the nature of the mmo that it does take time to add dungeons and such, so you wont get them just shooting out on a bi weekly basis
but this is a start

Yep, which is why they need to implement the means to foster more player-driven content so that players can entertain each other without having to rely on the devs to feed them all the time.

Oh yes the upcoming... We all know the potential Final Fantasy has 'upcoming'. Thats simply why we are all here right now, the only problem is that the start is nearly a year from release. But it is a start...well its a start

I love that this game has become more and more playable. However now that it is playable, i'd like something to play wit.
No, months and months of patient playtesting. We are playing for free in exchange for getting to try the new design ideas and give feedback. Expect this to be exactly what they say it is. Dungeons, and new central camp areas.
Hmmm that's weird, I remember paying $80x2 for 2xCE versions and then $240 for a new graphics card just for this game and $360 for my wifes new monitor just so she can play this game in larger screen... I don't remember it being "FREE". They had to make the 'SERVICE' free because the first team screwed up (or got screwed by SE admins who only looks at money, and release dates) Sorry but had to say this, hate when people think we should be happy that we get to play this game for FREE now.
lol did i really just hear another "se made me upgrade my pc so i count it to the price i payed for ff14"Hmmm that's weird, I remember paying $80x2 for 2xCE versions and then $240 for a new graphics card just for this game and $360 for my wifes new monitor just so she can play this game in larger screen... in no way were they legally bound to drop the montly fee for the timebeing, that was just a fair move on their part.
just to do the math, without the 1 free month you get from the purchase you would have payed 104 bucks till now or in your case 208 bucks, to keep ther severs up and running costs money too, development isnt free as well, se is paying all that out of their pocket. you think that the price of the box helped them? it was just a drop in the ocean. 80 bucks isnt that much of a deal either, most of the "blockbuster" games that come out cost that much and some are only 4 to 6 hours long, i think if you even tried to give 14 a fair chance playing wise you got your moneys worth of playtime.
plus after the open beta it was pretty obvious that things arent going so well, so stop blameing others for your purchase decisions.

At least with the other games including FF I got at least to play a fully working game that was advertised (although some just show the best CS in advertisement and thats the only best scenes you get from the game lol)
Sure I spent the money for better graphics card, what else games did I use it for? NONE could I have bought another PC game that can use it? Sure but my main reason was only for FFXIV after playing FFXI for 6-7 years straight. Better monitor, can't argue much on that she loves it so can use for other stuff sure. 2xCE disks I'll just say it may be worth something as a good memory like I said on another thread. This game can either turn into the worste FF ever in all FF series out now, OR it can turn around and become oen of the best MMO in top3 of this year, or whatever year.
And how many hours have you played? Seriously you missed the point. The game went back to the drawing board, and we get to keep playing while they redesign it. They could have shut the game down except for a single server and some play testers, but instead you have the option to keep playing FOR FREE until its fixed. If this game works out and has the same sort of end game gear as XI did the players who kept at this through the repairs will probably be the first ones with whatever the XIV version of stage 5 relic weapons are.Hmmm that's weird, I remember paying $80x2 for 2xCE versions and then $240 for a new graphics card just for this game and $360 for my wifes new monitor just so she can play this game in larger screen... I spent money on a new PC, GeForce 480, new monitor and the CE. You don't hear me whining about it because I've gotten more play time out of this game than the last game I upgraded my system to play. I can even use it to play other new games like TESV when it comes out imagine that? Honestly if you were that unhappy most game stores take games back within the first 30 days. You could have returned it for another MMO for use on that new PC.
Edit: Dropped a line for its rudeness XD.
