I mean, come on, you're making devilbelly meatballs out of queer-smelling meat, for one.

My favourite quote was in the CUL guild, when you are collecting the ingredients and the recipe. One guy says something like "Well I can't help you with the recipe, but if it's queer-smelling meat you're after... dot dot dot" (not an exact quote, but a reasonable facsimile) and I loved the double entendre. :P

Definitely the funniest quest I've done so far, and I've finished most of them. Looking forward to future extensions of this class quest line.
It's been a while since I actually ran this one, now I sort of wish I could do it again, I had forgotten some of the finer points

I do recall being a little pleasantly surprised at how... I don't know, "raunchy" some parts of it were. Not that it was exactly explicit, or even all that raunchy by JMMO standards, but not the kind of thing you usually see make it into anything translated into english that hits the mass market that they had at least intended for lots of people, including kids to play. Of course, some of the things your path "companion" says are rather suggestive as well, to say the least.

I think I got more enjoyment from the Culinarian quests, and generally more of a sense of pride and accomplishment out of hitting each cooking rank just because we're not exactly the most popular craft in the game, and I don't feel like I'm just like all the other bazillion weavers, carpenters, blacksmiths, whatever whenever I do.

Sure, whenever I get a rank in Culinarian and I blurt out "ding! CUL38!" or something in LS chat, I'm sure everyone is thinking "omg who CARES?" even though they politely offer up a (Congratulations!), but I know that even at 38, it puts me among a select dedicated elite who have persevered without fear of belittlement, gil-making potential, practicality, or available inventory space for love of their craft (well, ok, when I say "love" we have our bad days too... last leve left me like 2k short of 38 and I didn't have all the ingredients for anything that I'd get decent sp for to get there, but I did have a bunch of apples, of course... there were some nasty things said about apple juice in LS chat yesterday).
