Player commendations; with friends.

I understand that SE doesn't want us to distribute commendations to friends or people we made a pre-made group for obvious reason, but something has been bugging me out, and has been probably mentionned somewhere...

I often go in CT with just a few friends, since many aren't online at certain times and I often find myself in a fun/good group with random players. During the whole time we have a blast with each other, till the end arrives; I go out with a player commendation given by that player, while I can't give him one in return. :/

It feels like I penalize those players for not being able to obtain a player commendation while I can. Could SE grey out the names of our friends from the pre-made group we made back in our server when it's time to choose a player to give a commendation?

I'm probably not the only one having that feeling when that happens. Thoughts?
