New side of "The Coming Darkness" Event

So in 1.17c there was an undocumented server command added:

*New GM command "monsterpop". Spawns a monster by actor ID at your position. The last time they added a GM command, it was "gmbuff" and that was used for the GM that buffed everyone in the camps and in Ul'dah.

Recently heard from multiple players that the mysterious Arcanist PR guy is re-popping at Horizon and giving his speech. This time though, after his speech is done, he spawns multiple Gnats and Hippogryphs that proceed to rape the Aetheryte camp.

Who wants to camp him and confirm with an SS?

They should spawn Bahamut in Ul'Dah it would be worth dying a few times just to see that ^^

Yesterday while i was at camp horizon i saw the gm and i also saw the gnats and hippocerfs. i took some of them down.

A shellmate also reported this occurring on Fabul at Horizon. Hippocerf and Giant Gnat spawns (R30ish). No screens, unfortunately.

Hahaha, they are trying to force players away from Thanalan by monster snipe tactics! Nowhere is safe in the desert!

Do want more of these subtle little things.

I'm hoping they find a more creative way to use this server command. Spamming it at horizon seems like a waste of a possibly great thing.
