Has anyone attempted to use a 15+ button mouse on the PS3 before?

I just got a Corsair M90 and I'm lost on using it on my ps3. I have tried researching this with no luck. The main buttons work just fine but I don't know how to configure the macro buttons. Any suggestions?

They probably wouldn't work because technically a mouse only has up to five buttons, even in Windows. The rest of those extra buttons are actually just keyboard keys remapped to the extra buttons. Since a PS3 doesn't normally have a keyboard, it has no idea what to do with those extra buttons, plus it probably lacks the drivers for anything that isn't a generic mouse/keyboard anyway.

As all the mappings are in waste majority of times done by software directly in the PC (Windows) there is basically no chance this would work. The only exception would be device (keyboard, mouse or mouse partially emulating keyboard as well) with all macros actually loaded directly into the device - I'm using old Cherry keyboard with "hardware" macros and those indeed works everywhere independent of the sofware. You still need to program them via PC indeed.
